Armageddon Defined

I have not posted for some time and things have been somewhat overtaken by events. I am a 43-year retired Diplomat with the U.S. State Dept, but I am also the son of 2 protestant preachers. Short version..I AM VERY WELL VERSED ON BIBLE PROPHECY! It is pretty obvious to anyone more intelligent than the average door knob, that the Muslim situation is completely out of control. How can you negotiate with someone who looks forward to dying? Are you interested in where it is heading...NOT FROM SOME WACKO NUTBALL BUT FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS VISITED 58 COUNTRIES, OVER 43 YEARS AND RUBBED ELBOWS WITH THE HIGH AND MIGHTY? Take a look at the bible, Matt ch 24. Jesus was describing the end times with his disciples and they asked him when these things (Armageddon) will take place. Jesus described the time when Israel would finish it's time of being trodden down by the gentiles (Gain their independence), and that took place in 1948. He then goes on to say "Verily I say that this generation shall not pass until all is fulfilled". Think about what he said..THIS GENERATION...WHAT GENERATION...THE GENERATION THAT SAW ISRAEL GAIN ITS INDEPENDENCE...IN 1948. My stepdaughter was born in 1948...she is 58 years old now. If she is to see all this...it has to be soon.
FYI: The battle is not going to be fought at Armageddon (The plains of Megido), but instead that is where the armies will stage for the battle which will be fought in Jerusalem. It will pit The Muslim world with Russia (Russia wants the Muslim controlled oil, and the Muslims want Russia's nuclear arms). The other army will be composed of Israel and her allies..Jesus Christ who will descend on the Mount of Olives (Mid-battle)...the same place he ascended from...and no, we don't know if the USA will be in that army...BUT WE HAD BETTER HOPE SO BECAUSE THOSE STANDING AGAINST ISRAEL WILL GO DOWN TO A HORRIBLE DEFEAT...HOW HORRIBLE...THE BIBLE SAYS THEIR EYES WILL MELT IN THEIR SOCKETS BEFORE THEY CAN FALL TO THE GROUND..SOUNDS NUCLEAR TO ME!
